A day trip from Rome, Lake Bracciano is a great escape from the city with its lake side market, winding streets, and castle to explore.

I lived in Rome from 1975 - 78 and had friends who lived on a hill overlooking Lago Bracciano. We spent so many Sunday afternoons there. I remember the market and swimming in the lake. Thank you so much for this trip down memory lane! Your photos are wonderful!
